The Big Rumble

It was a hot sunny Friday afternoon when this boy named Harley was walking up the breezeway when his friend Chris stole his phone from his bag. Chris thought he was being funny. But Harley got mad and said” a dog give me my phone back” after that coach Ordaz ran up to Harley with smoke rolling on his ear and said “that's disrespectful now you owe me two” Harley they kept walking and rudely said that's 3 cause ion give a f**k. Harley then steamed off to go to his locker coach Ordaz trailed behind him like a lost puppy and said, “Come with me, Harley.” 

    After Harley heard him he then picked up his stuff and slammed his locker. Coach Ordaz told Harley to sit on the bench and he called Mr. Milmo and  told him about Harley's Behavior Harley sat there in the burning hot sun like a marshmallow over a fire Harley's teammates were walking out of the locker room to the practice field Coach came out the locker and said “let's go Harley.” Harley jumped up to grab his bag and followed him to the field they got to the field we're Harley had to just sit in the deadly hot sun where he was just burning up. Practice ended shortly because it was 112 degrees. 

   Then on the next day, Harley gets called to the office in the 2nd period to Mr. Milmo's office where he was told he had iss. He steamed up the breezeway to the ISS room. Harley spent the rest of the day in there. While he was there he had realized what he did and said was wrong.

Buffet

Texas has the fattest population in the United States. Why and how are people getting fat will the United States is filled with buffets. For example, the Hidalgo family enjoys going to Poncho’s buffet every Friday. The food they serve (buffet style) is tacos, enchiladas, nachos, tamales, hamburgers, rice, and beans. Mrs. Hidalgo says, “I love to eat at Poncho’s because of the tasty food and it is open for 24 hours. Who'd know that a restaurant that has the all you can you eat with a lot of food with a good amount of money to pay to go in.”

People get diseases from the most unexpected places you've ever seen and it’s not good. Nail salons in Denton, TX have some diseases because the salons are the dirtiest nail salons you will ever see. It would be best if you not go .”They can rip your fingernails and it's not going to feel good,” Cinthya had said. ”They can rip your whole nails off!” Cinthya is a nail technician in a neighboring town. They can cut your nails and make you bleed. 

Ways to make sure you are getting a hygienic experience is pretty simple. Some salons are not clean and when they open the packages of tools and nail clipper they are clean. They have been sanitized if they are in sealed packages. When they don't open up sealed packages they are not clean. They also don't clean up the chairs and clean the towels very good. And for all those reasons you can get diseases. Please check what nail salon you are going to. A little research can save you from a stay in the hospital.

Big Fight

Fights happened in all grades even in middle school.  One event in particular happened at Calhoun Middle School. There was a girl named Hannah was known as the school bully and  she was also Alesa’s best friend. She wanted to fight Alesa. Alesa was walking to her class near the Mc Alister’s gym when Hannah walked up to her angrily yelling, “Why have you been going around talking about me behind my back instead of saying it to my face?” Alesa told Hannah that she wasn’t going to hit her, so Hannah took advantage of that and went off on her. It appeared that Lori, Dana, and Jess were spreading rumors that Alesa had been  bad mouthing about Hannah. Alesa swore that she wasn’t but Hannah didn’t believe her. As Alesa was taking off her hoodie, Hannah ran up to her and threw her to the ground. She started bashing her head into the ground repeatedly. When they were finally pulled apart by one of Alesa’s best friends, Alesa’s face looked like a zombie coming out of their grave after a few years. Once the crowd left the nurse came running to her and took her back to the nurse’s office. When the nurse saw her she was terrified because of the horrid event that had just occurred. Alesa’s face was all beaten up and bruised. Alesa had a dent in her head. Her mom was contacted and she came running in the nurse’s office as fast as the speed of light. The nurse had assured that she was okay, she told her mom that “one more hit to the ground and she would of been dead.”

After the Game

It was their first game, Calhoun 8th-grade volleyball team was taking on Rodriguez middle school. After C teams game one of the girls went out of the gym to grab some food. While Sam was out there a gang of eight Rodriguez football thugs approached her and started trash-talking her schools teams. One of the kids with blonde tips and a gold chain said, “Yall finna take a hard L in football this year”.  She replied with “that's funny because last year we whooped yall, so what's stopping us from doing it again?”. That's when everybody started flaming on each other. Once the boys left, she turned around to find Coach Rictor dead eyeing her. Her face was blushing red. Coach Rictor gestured her to come over. Sam walked over as if nothing was happening and asked her what's up. That's when coach Rictor said, “I was just informed by this school principal that you were starting crap with some of their boys.” Sam started to explain what had happened. All of a sudden,  Coach cut her off and told her how tomorrow she would be running laps for the disrespectful behavior towards their school. Silently, Sam nodded her head and left thinking about how unfair the whole situation turned out to be. That next morning Sam was caught running a sixty in the gym for what hapend.

Nail Salon

The nail salon industry brings in over five billion dollars. Nail salon offers services like fake nails, glowing nails, and designs. Some people believe that you shouldn't get fake nails because they will ruin your everyday life. Yazminya, an eighth-grader at Calhoun Middle School, said, “They will shave your nails off which will ruin them for months.” Other people said that they can’t button their pants, can’t open soda cans, or put in their contacts. 

Giselda loves getting her nails done because they look good on her. “I like when I get compliments from people. It makes me feel ‘bourge’.” Nail salons seem to be some sort of addiction and if you visit once you will continue to visit for more services. Giselda said “they cost $40 but they are totally worth it.”

  

They will look nice on you but they can ruin your nails. You have to ask yourself, do you really want to spend money to ruin your nails?

Broken Leg

When Thomas woke up he never expected that he would break his leg 8 hours later. When his athletics period was going on he realized he was late so he started running and not paying attention. Unsurprisingly he broke his leg by a fall Thomas was hoping someone spotted him on the floor. One of his teammates spotted him on the floor and alerted the coach. Thomas finally accepted that he broke his leg so he stopped trying to get up. When the teammates got to the coach the coach ran to Thomas. The coach assisted Thomas until other people could help Thomas get up and go to the nurse's office. When the coach came back from assisting Thomas he told the team that Thomas can't play anymore because he broke his leg. The next day Thomas came back with a leg cast. He told his friends how he broke his leg. When his athletics period came up he told his coach that he couldn't play or practice football. Some time goes by and Thomas's leg finally heals and he can play and practice football.

Championship

The St. Helen Catholic School lions came on to the St. Helen Catholic School field. The game began in the early evening of 5 oo’ clock. This wasn’t just a usual game, but it was the championship kick off game. The lions were undefeated. Due to their win streak, they made it all the way to the beginning of something special. They were proven to be the best.

First, the St. Helen Catholic School kicked it off with the first score of the game. The St. Helen Catholic School lions were very dominated but they did struggle because of player from the opposing team. HIs name will be player #1. His jersey number was 1. He is a very fast player. Quick like a bolt of lightning. After all that, the lions were still dominant in the first half. The score was 27-20.  During the game, the coach was screaming like “go go go Yesss touchdown great job Rendell”! Rendell the quarterback was doing very well. Then in the second half, they started trailing the other team for about 2 min 50 sec.

Finally, the St. Helen Catholic School lions just went off and took the lead and ended up winning. People in the stands celebrated and cheered. The coach was showered by the water cooler when the athletes dumped it on him.Finally, there was the trophy presentation it was a big trophy. 

NewsCast Story

On March 15, 2019 on Avenue F in the UNT parking lot, there was a car crash. When the person saw his car get hit it was totaled. He got mad when he saw but he ran to see if the person was fine.  When he saw who it was he realized it was his Professor Johnson. He was knocked out. He called for help, but nobody could hear him. Then he started to stumble around and he found someone. He told the person that got in the car crash he called 911. Then they decided to check if he was dead but they saw something. He had been drinking. The officer checked  his breath it was over .2 he went to jail for 3 years. More than 2,000 death happens in a car crash due to drinking and texting. 

Truck

10,495 kids died in 2016 to drunk drivers! But this one got lucky. A 12-year-old boy named Drew was walking to his old school to play some basketball, but when Drew started crossing the gardenview street a truck came flying around the corner of the street at a minimum of 90 mph and almost hit him. Drew started running to the school called evers  to tell all his friends. 

When he got to the evers park to his friends all them asked me what that screech noise was. He said that was because of me i almost got hit.

Accident at LAX

You would have thought it would be a regular day of traveling and get to your destination with no interruption but today it was different. As tourists travel at a fast pace in the LAX airport trying to get to their boarding gate. There was this one in particular man. He was fully tattooed from head to foot with a very outlined buzz cut and a large tattoo that said “420” in bold on his neck and had what looked like a heart right behind his ear. As he walked hurriedly to his flight he was stopped by security for possibly carrying drugs or a weapon on the plane. The security with no hesitation removed him from the line he was in. they asked him for his bag and he immediately realized he was caught he tried to make a quick move and cut to his left because to his right was the security. You can hear walkie talkies going off you can hear the *plop plop plop* of shoes on the floor. He got out some door and had somehow made it out of the airport and was now under the plain that he was trying to board, he was surrounded there were police everywhere. There were police, security, cargo movers there was confusion, fear, excitement. He had nowhere to go he started backing up and walking backward in circles, a policewoman had snuck up behind him and grabbed him by his elbows. He bucked back like a bull in a rodeo, he was struggling, he was scared, he was angry that he couldn't get away with what he was doing. As they cuffed him he tried to get away again but didn't get very far, all he got out of it was being tackled, now he was being arrested and his face was down squished against the concrete. A crowd had gathered around a window to watch as the man was being arrested some were gasping some were saying “he had a weapon for sure” “he had drugs” “he’s dumb” “I feel bad” some cheered some sighed some were happy some were sad. The tourists, business people, and children were all nervous to get on the plane they did not trust anybody they didn't know what to expect next. No one knew who that man was no one knew what he did, all they were thinking was that it wasn't safe.

Everyone arrived in Dallas safely, it was a quiet plane ride, no babies cried no one talked, it was peaceful. When the plane landed there was a sense of relief, a sense of safety, everyone was so happy to be home.

Stitches

Jonovan and his friend Marco went to the soccer field in Mexico near laderas del mirador. It was a cloudy day with a lot of wind. In Mexico, the soccer field was closed so they decided to jump a broken fence that was a dangerous decision. When they jumped the fence Jonovan fell. He did not notice that he got hurt. When he looked down he tore off a chunk of his skin on his foot and you can see all his eat and muscles the flesh was barely hanging onto his foot. He got hurt on his foot it was bad. His family rushed him to the hospital. His family was so scared and worried. Will he was there the doctors stitched him up. Later that day he noticed that he got 14 stitches. The lesson is to think before you do something.

Pep Rallies

Pep rallies are something that all schools do every once in a while. Students who get to play in the band during pep rallies always play energetic music to fit the crowd of excited kids. Pep rallies happen at the end of the day, which shortens the classes. Schools use pep rallies to boost the spirits of bored students. Pep rallies go on for an average of forty-five minutes to an hour. Pep rallies are enjoyable for even the most sour kids.

Car Crash

Today at 12:30 in the morning there was a car crash in front of this house in Denton texas. In the world there are 1.25 million people die from crashes in usa. here's a word from the victim of the crash “this guy is so damn dumb he crashed into a parked car “.Here's another word from the victims daughter “ this guy is a dumba** for crashing in a parked “ now word from the driver “I don't know why they're so mad I was just testing out the car to see if it had any difficulties and it did as you can see it did have some difficulties with the brakes . this is all on channel 5 news.

Games

Kids in America are addicted to games but some games help people with their learning experience if you go to a certain website called Minecraft what will see is something that tells you what you can do on a certain mode but there is a survival mode creative mode adventure mode. Other games have an effect on kids, teens, adults too but games like Fortnite can lead to anger like me I've broken my art kit cause of Fortnite.

Scary Moment

Car crashes happened on a daily basis in the Dallas area. The number and reasons is people not paying attention to the road + texting 

  It was a Sunday evening in Lewisville, Saray and her family decided to spend the sunny evening at the park. As they were preparing to leave their home and head to the park.they made a pit stop at the Michoacan to get some mangonadas with Smith mango. When they arrived at the park Saray gazed at the window observing the scene of the beautiful park.she and her family enjoy the park's attraction + slides. Saray and her siblings Sashenka, and leilaliy.They got in the car so sweaty from playing at the park.while they were on there way home Jose their dad was driving and they saw this drunk driver in a truck and he drove in the divider and went the  opposite way. Jose stop so quick and sed ‘’f&**” cause he was bout crash. Jose got down so quick to see if the dude was okay and he seemed drunk. more people came in to see if he was okay people started to call the police. Jose got in the car because he didn't want to be involved in the accident.so we left home safely

Losing People

10,000 kids go missing in the USA every year. They get lost, kidnapped, or they get sold into child trafficking. One case happened to a 4th grader named Edgar. He forgot to tell his mom but he went to his friend’s house. Then the mom was so worried that she went inside the school to search for the lost boy, but he wasn’t there. She wanted to know where he was so his mom told the principal to call every student’s mom. 

The principal called my friend’s mom and she passed the phone to him. ”Where were you kid! Wait till you get home”, his mother sobbed. Then after that day his mom and dad decided to buy him a phone so he can call them when he can hang out with his friend’s.

This mother is lucky that she found her son. In the USA 10% of missing kids are never found alive after being reported missing. One set of parents were’nt lucky which was the Johnsons from San Antonio the FBI found the boy’s body in October 2018. A truck was selling candy, and the kid, Mike, was taken. Then the next day he was found dead.

Tennis Team

It happened to be the most interesting day in Ms.Simmons class. Her class went to the gym to observe the gym class to capture newscast stories for an assignment. The tennis team was sitting down on the floor in the gym. The coach was just about to give instructions for the day. The coach made them do all different sorts of hand coordination to strengthen their condition. There was this one girl named Shelby who was traveling down the court with the tennis ball. When Coach Blanco blew the whistle for them to switch coordination to bounce the ball. She stumbled over a small tennis ball. She did not have a balance. All the other players ran over her while she sat in the middle of the floor looking like a lost puppy.  They were running across the court bouncing tennis balls. Next, the coach instructed them to throw the ball against the wall with both hands. Ms.Simmons's class left and went back to the classroom with a notebook full of observations that were useful for the assignment. Finally, she told them to write about something they observed in the gym. She really couldn’t talk because her class was talking over here, but she said to write about something that was observed in the gym with the tennis class. Her class worked to complete the assignment because they wanted a grade.

Goodbye

Giselda’s Family faced a sad depressing day because they were saying goodbye to their grandma. The family was not prepared that morning, Giselda just wanted to wake up from this bad dream she woke up crying “I wish this was just a dream” but she knew you have to let people you love go even  though she did not want to. Giselda was so sad because her grandma was the first person she talked to when she had trouble with her parents. Sadly, as she got dressed in all black she felt more pain in her heart because she did not want to bury her grandma. It was a very sad day for Giselda and her family Saying goodbye was not easy but with all the pain in her heart she had to say crying “ Goodbye grandma I will always miss you”.Every day she prays and talks to her grandma when she feels alone, scared, mad and happy she will never forget the special person who always helped her when she had problems even though she wishes she was here physically her soul is still with her the last words to her grandma was “ I will never stop loving you, I really miss you but I know you are in a better place”.

Mexican Freedom

Cinco de Mayo happens once a year, it happens at the Quakertown park known as the civic center.It is a festival based on the Mexican Revolution.The Mexican Revolution was a fight for freedom, which the Mexicans had won.So they celebrated the day every year to honor their freedom.The festival has a lot of things to buy.Some examples would be toys for the kids, activities for any person, and then there is food.There is many choices for food.There is tacos, burritos, chicken and many more to enjoy.The most interesting part of the festival is the parade.Before they put up or start the festival, there is a lot of cars and horses with Mexican flags to represent their freedom.They also play music during the parade.

Hector's Stuck Shoe

There were 3 kids jovann, jacob and hector they went to the mall it was dark and the moon was up after they went shopping jovann was thinking to play football so hector took off his shoe because he wasn't trying to get them dirty and jovann quickly took it and started throwing it to jacob, hector tried to get his shoe until jovann threw it so high it hit a tree and it got stuck so they all looked at the shoe hector tried to get it out but he couldn't because the shoe was at the top of the tree so jacob found an empty bottle and went to the fountian to put water in it jacob threw the water bottle to the tree but missed, Hector was mad at jovann and jacob then jovann went to the dumpster beside the mall and found tall metal pole so he got it and took it was the trees at jovann started hitting the tree, Hector saw the security coming jovann,jacob and hector ran to the parking lots and hide after the security left,they went back and jovann  started hitting the tree with the pole,jacob was laying down and hector was kicking the tree. The shoe fell off the tree and hector quickly put on his shoe on and they put everything back, and they walked wendy's and waited till their parents to pick them up.
